Today, Chief Scout, President Halimah Yacob launched the Annual Job Week at NTUC Health (NTUCH) Nursing Home (Jurong Spring). Ours Scouts interacted with the seniors, assisted the NTUCH healthcare workers with taskings such as housekeeping.

In line with the theme for this year’s Diamond Jubilee Challenge (Environment), our Scouts also taught the seniors how to make arts and crafts using recycled materials.

This is all the more relevant as demand for care services grows with our ageing population, and as we raise awareness and understanding of this work, we hope more will be interested to step forward to explore career opportunities in this growing sector.” said Chan Su Yee, Chief Executive Officer, NTUC Health.
