Officiated by SM Goh Chok Tong, SSA held its Centenary Celebration Dinner (the first of a series of 5 events) on 27 February at Suntec Singapore.
 
Rover Scout Edmund Chan participated in the 4th International Scout Gathering 2010 For Scouting & Intellectual Initiatives held in  Sharjah, United Arab Emirates from 3rd – 13th February 2010
 
Rover Scout Edmund Chan, Rover Scout Lim Yi and Rover Scout Ong Maylwin participated in the 3rd Thailand International Youth Forum held in Chiangmai, Thailand from 7th – 15th April 2010
 
The second event of the 100th Anniversary Celebration was the Scout Rally officiated by DPM Teo Chee Hean on 22 May at Hwa Chong Institution.
 
Contingent Leader Sidah Jasmin led a contingent of 17 extension scouts to a Goodwill Trip to Batam, Indonesia from 20th – 22 June 2010.
 
Chief Commissioner Tan Cheng Kiong, Deputy Chief Nicholas Tang, International Commissioner Chay Hong Leng and Executive Director Mohd Effendy participated in the7th Asia Pacific Regional Leaders Summit held in Bangalore, India from 21st – 28th June 2010
 
Contingent Leader Lam Tat Wai led a contingent of 57 Participants to the 15th Nippon Jamboree held in Asagiri Plateau, Shizuoka, Japan from 31st July – 10 August 2010

The Scout Discovery Centre (located at SSA HQ), the first in APR, was officially launched by Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for community Development, Youth and Sports on 4 September.
 
HE President S R Nathan, the Chief Scout officially launched the Commemorative Book on 20 September at the Istana.
 
The finale of a series of five events to commemorate 100th anniversary of
 Scouting, Jamb 100 cum 3rd ASEAN Jamboree (held at 3 campsite sites and the
 SAF training ground) along Jalan Bahtera was held from 4- 9 December
 The highlights of the jamboree were:-
 
a)HE President SR Nathan, the Chief Scout graced the Opening Ceremony on 5 December at Sarimbun Camp
b)International Night officiated by Associate Professor Koo Tsai Kee, Minister of State (Defence) on 7 December.
c)Dr. Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education officiated at the Closing Ceremony on 8 December.
 
 
Contingent Leader Noraini Mohamad led a contingent of 18 Extension Scout to Mount Kinabalu Expedition in Sabah from 14th – 19th December 2010
 
Contingent Leader Desmond Foo Chuan Chen led a contingent of 24 Participants to the Hong Kong Centenary Jamboree held in Penny Bay from 27th Dec 2010 – 1st January 2011

2011

Dr Mohd Effendy (ED) together with ACC(West) Alphonsus Gregory, ACC(South) Lester Lee and Rover Scout Edieusdi Ahmad attended the 39th World Scout Conference held in Curitiba, Brazil from 9th – 14th January 2011.

Rover Scout Edieusdi Ahmad (Serangoon Eagle Scout) represented the association at the 11th World Scout Youth Forum in Blumenau, Brazil from 2nd -6th June 2011. He stood for election as a World Youth Advisor. However his bid was unsuccessful.

From 27th- 29th May, 2011, First Vice Chairman Mr Prakorb Mukura, Second Vice Chairman Dr. Mukhyuddin Bin Sarwani and Mr Mohammed Ali Khalid from the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Committee accompanied by Mr Abdullah Rasheed (APR Regional Director) and Mr Syd Castillo (Director of Youth Programme) conducted the Committee NSO Visit (CNV) in Singapore. The purpose of the visit is to help SSA in her continuous efforts and new initiatives taken to improve the quality of scouting and delivery of innovative programmes.

Mr. Tan Sijie (Advisor Project Orion) and Mr. Edieusdi Ahmad (Team Leader) together with 7 other Rover Leaders attended the 5th Scouts of The World Voluntary Service Project – Project Orion 3 held in Terengganu, Malaysia from 16th-30th June 2011. The Team worked closely with WWF (Malaysia) to further improve the Turtle Conservation Project.

Led by Ms Asmawati Saimon (Extension Scout Leader), 7 Extension Scouts and 4 Adult Leaders attended the 27th International Agonoree in Korea from 21st-26th June 2011.

Mr Nordin Salleh (ALT, STT) together with 2 Scouts from Queenstown Secondary School attended the 9th Indonesia National Scout Jamboree in Palembang, Indonesia from 2nd – 9th July 2011.

2012

The Ceremony (Adiji Chief Scout) to welcome the new Chief Scout Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam, the President of the Republic of Singapore was organized on 25 February at St Patrick School.

For the first time, in his capacity as the Chief Scout of SSA, President Tony Tan Keng Yam officiated at the Charity Golf Dinner held on 9 Oct at Tanah Merah Country Club.

Chief Commissioner Tan Cheng Kiong attended the Chairman’s Consultation with NSOs held in Manila, Philippines on 11 February.

The following 4 VALs attended the International Workshop on Cub Scouting held in Bangladesh from 23-25 February.

SSA hosted the official visit (28-29 March) of the following key appointment holders from Scout Association of Japan to promote the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan.

Four VALs attended the 29th APR Scout Jamboree held in Sri Lanka from 1 – 6 April.

Led by Edward Loh, Assistant National Extension Scout Programme Commissioner, the following SSA delegates attended the APR Workshop on Scouting for Young People with Special Needs in Perth, Australia from 6 – 9 April:-

Patrick Tan, Assistant Chief Commissioner (Resource) and Andrew Ang, Assistant Chief Commissioner (North Area) represented SSA at the 3rd ASARC Conference held in Chiangmai, Thailand from 10 – 13 April.

Chairman NRC Oliver Lim represented SSA at the Commonwealth Scout Forum held in Windsor Castle, London from 26 to 30 April.

District Commissioner Yang Chen and Scout Programme Commissioner Edmund Tay represented SSA at a study trip to Hong Kong Correctional Services organized by Singapore Prisons Dept. from 2 – 6 May.

Hosted by SSA and organized by World Scout Bureau, the Messenger of Peace Network Seminar held at Roxy Hotel from 24- 27 May was attended by 71 participants from 38 countries.

Caleb Cheah (Director of Corporate Affairs) was a SSA representative at the Messenger of Peace Network Seminar hosted by SSA and organized by World Scout Bureau from 24-27 May.

VAL Carol Philip represented SSA at the APR Workshop on Environment Education in Scouting held in Sabah, from 4-7 June.

Caleb Cheah (Director of Corporate Affairs) represented SSA at APR Workshop for Correspondents held from 22-25 June in Manila, Philippines.

Organised by Edmund Tay, Scout Programme Commissioner, the National Badge Patch Carnival 2012 was held from 28 to 29 July at The National Library. The finals of National Scout Lore Quest (NSLQ) was held on 28 July 2012 at The National Library.

Led by Scout Leader Vasantha Kumari, 4 Leaders and 8 Scouts represented SSA at 11th Nippon Agoonoree from 2nd – 7th August in Japan.

Anthony Ng (Senior Executive Training/Adult Resource) attended the APR Workshop on Internal Consultant in Manila, Philippines from 13 to 17 August.

Anthony Ng (Senior Executive Training/Adult Resources) was invited by APR office to serve as a resource person in the Cambodia Scouts’ National Workshop on Building Management Capabilities from 25 to 28 September held in Cambodia.

NPC Malcolm Tan Ban Hoe served as a forum staff at the 7th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Youth Forum held from 16th – 21st November 2012 at Dhaka in Bangladesh. Ediuesdi Ahmad (NRC Chairman) together with Sathieswarant (a NRC member) represented SSA at the forum.

Dr Mohd Effendy Rajab (ED) led a contingent of 21 SSA participants at the Messenger of Peace Training at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia from 9th to 17th December 2012.

In collaboration with CAAS, the 1st Singapore International “Airboree” was held in Sarimbum. The highlight of the event was a visit to the Singapore Air show. Some 170 participants attended with overseas scouts from Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

A 3 day Scout of the World workshop was held at the Raffles Institution with participation form Brunei, Taiwan and Malaysia
